Ever since we hiked in the Blue Ridge mountains on one of our visits to Asheville, North Carolina, I had been dreaming of painting them. The majestic mountains and the distinctive Blue caused by the isoprene from trees released into the atmosphere. Such a cool phenomena and totally breathtaking.

This painting is my depiction of these beautiful mountains, with its valleys and ridges and its color gradation.
